D-chiro-inositol is extracted by a patented process from Carob (Ceratonia siliqua) pod found in Southern Europe. Deficiency of D-chiro-inositol in peripheral tissue causes insulin resistance that leads to hyperandrogenism in ovaries which results in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). D-chiro-inositol helps regulate androgen/estrogen balance by decreasing LH and serum testosterone levels. It improves glucose tolerance, reduces circulating insulin, reduces oxidative stress on follicles, and decreases total cholesterol/triglycerides. Composition & Active Ingredients
Each capsule contains Carob (Ceratonia siliqua) as D-Chiro-Inositol 500mg standardized extract and other ingredients.
Indications & Therapeutic Uses

Dosage & Administration
Orally 1-2 capsules daily or as advised by the physician. Duration of treatment should be minimum 2 months.
Drug Interaction
Concurrent use with digoxin may result in increased digoxin toxicity.

Contraindications
Contraindicated in patient with known hypersensitivity to D-chiro-inositol.
