Description
Antabex (Amalaki Rasayan) is a classical Ayurvedic liquid preparation formulated from Amalaki (Emblica officinalis). Composition & Active Ingredients
Each 5 ml contains extracts/preparation of Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) and other complementary Ayurvedic excipients q.s.
Indications & Therapeutic Uses
Hyperacidity, heartburn, gastritis, indigestion, flatulence, loss of appetite, and general digestive debility.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls (10 to 20 ml) twice daily after meals with an equal amount of water. Or as directed by a registered physician/Ayurvedic practitioner.
Drug Interaction
No significant drug interactions reported. Exercise caution when taking alongside allopathic antacids or iron supplements, or consult a registered physician.
Side Effects
Generally safe and well-tolerated at recommended dosages. Excess consumption may rarely cause mild bowel looseness or gastric upset.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity or known allergy to Amalaki or any of its ingredients. Severe diarrhea or dysentery.
